...PRUDE ON FIRE.
Been away for a very long time. Here's a little something to let you know that I'm on my way. The journey's still long
But I'll certainly get there :).

Mother,I'm a Prude & I'm on Fire!
Landmarks are outstretched on my back,
The stars live in my eyes.
"Honey!It drips from her lips!",

the lads sing...
But you told me to stay away from men.
I lived with that even as I sang songs in the taverns
And the squiffy old men kept chanting,"Puritan, bloody Puritan!"
Mother,I watch the other girls kiss boys,
and the others tell me their wedding nights are magical.
(Oh,why can't that be me? I envy)
I'm a prude-I've never had a man touch me
and the walls of the earth keep sweltering.
I'm on fire!
I'm up in flames from all this desire...and
There's no man's oceans I can run to to put out the flames.
Mother,I'm a prude & I'm on fire!
Like a phoenix,my flesh blows up in ash;
Up and away,it flies into the skies.
These Puritan flames,they keep burning.
Mother, are they trying to say something?
If these flames seek a body to burn,
then certainly thine!
